General information
The Skeletal System is the frame of bones that holds up your body. If you didn't have your skeleton you would fall into a heap like a rag doll. Your skeleton is strong but light. It contains strong and weak bones. Your teeth are counted as part of the Skeletal System but they are not made up of bones. When you are born, you have 300 bones and when you are an adult you have 206 bones because they fuse together. There are a lot of different types of things that make up your skeleton, some of them are bones, cartilage, tendons and a lot more.
